certification description

BSMI is the abbreviation for Bureau of standards, Metrology and Inspection of the Standards Inspection Bureau of the Ministry of Economy of Taiwan.

Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and safety regulations should be applied to the import of products from Taiwan or products sold in Taiwan.

current validation categories and projects are:

(1) Motor categories: air conditioners (air conditioners), lighting fixtures, refrigerators, washing machines and dryers.

(2) Electronics: TV sets and video monitors (except digital TV), audio-visual products, power supply equipment and some information products.

(three) machinery: electric hand tool products.

(four) light source: lamp, bulb.

(five) household appliances: refrigerators, washing machines, drying machines.

< EM > Note: If the product is listed and controlled, the C C  and C o d e customs code should be attached for enquiry.

Annual certificate fee is NT $5 thousand.

note: the expiration of the certificate is allowed to be extended once, and the second time is required to re apply.
